Get to know the legend of the Chechén and the Chacá, sacred trees in the Mayan culture, as well as their efects and properties. Learn about the Sicté, sacred tree of the chicozapote, source of the natural chewing gum used by the Mayans.

Tour Details

On the tour you will observe monkeys, exotic birds and other species that inhabit Rancho Bonanza.

You will visit two fascinating cenotes where you can cool off in one of them, swimming in its crystal clear waters.

In addition, you will learn the origin of chewing gum. The tour will end while you enjoy delicious non-alcoholic drinks, as well as chocolates and/or crowbars. You will have the option to get close to the Melipona bee hives and try the 100% natural honey in a safe environment.

Note: Due to the personalized attention, this experience is for groups of 10 people maximum, only 2 children per tour. The trips are from Monday to Saturday

  • Rancho Bonanza is open from Monday to Saturday.

  • If you require special assistance or have any specific needs due to reduced mobility, and would like to confirm if you can participate in one of our tours, we recommend contacting a representative. Please note that in some cases it is not possible to carry out certain activities for security reasons.
  • It is prohibited to participate in the activity under the influence of alcoholic beverages.
  • Children from 8 years old can do the activity.
  • The maximum weight allowed is 100 kilos or 220 pounds.
  • Cancellation or rescheduling with less than 24 hours notice carries a 100% charge.
  • For safety reasons, if you have limited mobility, have had recent surgeries, have back problems, or are pregnant, we recommend considering lower impact activities.
